Though he considers himself an adult, Hugh is one of the oldest children in the orphanage who doesn't take rubbish from anyone, nor does he let anyone take it. With his cockney attitude, he's the only one who stands up to Mrs. Kingsman and William Ashmore - it's impossible to deter the confidence in himself. Despite having a bit of an attitude towards those who bother him, he's a particularity nice boy towards the other orphans and those who are younger than him. Often he will sneak food to them when they didn't get enough to eat or offer to wash their clothing in the heavy rain when Mrs. Hayward refuses to do the children's laundry for weeks. After spending thirteen years on the street, he knows a thing or two about protecting those around him and making sure everyone survives. No one gets left behind.

This pooch is one of the Corgis that stand and punch holes in tickets at the train station in Tartlets and many other cities in El Paradiso. Cherry Pom spends his life going from booth to booth, punching tickets for everyone who passes into cities and events like the parade or the carnival. They must have a ticket or he won't let them pass. If they beg, he'll close the window on them until they buy or bring a ticket and will not open the window until someone brings him a ticket to punch. The only thing that can distract him is toy balls and squirrels, but no ticket, no entry. He seems to be at almost every booth in El Paradiso and no one knows how he gets there faster than a train, on cheetah feet, or on wings. But yet, he's still there before they arrive. Despite tripping from the weight of his own tail half the time.
Will is the head bully of the orphanage coterie that bullies Gilbert along with anyone else who's vunerable enough to react to their ill humor. Among other things, he enjoys the typical 'smart child' hobbies like reading, writing, studying, and collecting rocks. When he isn't with his friends, he usually sits underneath the oak tree in the backyard and draws birds in his little red book, which Mrs. Kingsman takes enjoyment out of reading - one of the few things the crow of a woman smiles at. He will do anything to make himself look good in her eyes, making himself her favorite orphan. He is a tattle-tale and will lash out on the other children in a heartbeat, especially if they cross eyes with him. The older children know he does this so he stays out of trouble, preventing abuse from Mrs. Kingsman entirely.
Mrs. Matilda Purrfect is a Ringmaster put in charge by the Grandmaster in tutoring the next generation of actors for Cirque de El Paradiso's dramatic stage shows. This strict hellcat was made to be perfect and to make others just as perfect as her. Anyone who isn't up to the Pumpkin Queen's standards is promptly straightened out or disciplined. There is absolutely no excuse for saying you can't. That's her motto!
Character Theme: http://www.hmix.net/music/d/d9.mp3 The Spider Queen and her children are but a handful of non-plush inhabitants that live in El Paradiso. The Giraffe Spiders didn't have the luxury of being born into such a fun-filled world and none of the plush, not even the Grandmaster, are really sure where her troupe originated from. All the plush know is that Cupcake came from somewhere else and crawled into the closest crevice they could squeeze through. After the troupe was found by the Grandmaster, he decided to keep them and their Queen around. After all, he could never see enough 'happy, smiling faces.' Over the years, she came to care about the Grandmaster and is serious in her role of protecting the borders of El Paradiso. She will bring any guest that may have wandered away from the crowd and out of trouble. She has a poisonous attitude to go along with her fangs. She loves being in charge and giving orders and does not take kindly to anyone who doesn't care for her words, including the guests that are invited to El Paradiso.
